The FI$Cal Learning Center, a one-stop learning experience to help end users master the skills needed to become confident and successful system users, has reached the end of its pilot stage. The new center, which replaces the University of FI$Cal, brings together all of FI$Cal’s educational content into a single, one-stop shop. This includes virtual instructor-led training classes, job aids, how-to videos and web-based training courses.

Content within the Learning Center is organized by business process. This means you can search for business processes and find all learning content related to that module in one place. You can choose to complete the entire curriculum or individual parts of it.

After the pilot, which involved 36 users from 13 departments, FI$Cal solicited end users’ feedback on their one-stop learning experience. Staff will test system performance and usability and refine internal support processes for the center in preparation for going live.

The Learning Center will be introduced on the December 17 episode of FI$CalTv, which then plans to run monthly programs that focus on different modules within the center. Plans call for the Learning Center to go into full operation early next year, so tune in to FI$CalTv to get a preview.

Users during the pilot provided valuable feedback that will help FI$Cal fine-tune the Learning Center.
