Under direction of the Staff Services Manager II of the Business Services Section (BSS), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst works as the department emergency coordinator/health and safety officer, and is responsible for independently performing the most complex analytical and technical work in business, administrative services and emergency preparedness to support the facilities and business services needs of the department. The incumbent performs analytical duties relating to emergency preparedness, physical building security, facility projects, oversight of mobile device hardware (such as android and/or Apple devices), ergonomic evaluations and provides support to all areas of the BSS. As part of the BSS, the incumbent provides technical support and assistance to the staff, managers, executives, internal and external stakeholders.

ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SPECIALIST)

Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator II, the Accounting Administrator I (Specialist) (AA I) in the General Ledger Unit will provide the necessary information and support to the departments required to transact in the FI$Cal system. The incumbent will coordinate with the State Controller’s Office to facilitate the closing of accounting modules for month-end close/year-end close activities. The AA I plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing customer support, researching and resolving system incidents, and performing as the subject matter expert (SME) for the accounting areas and modules of the system such as general ledger (GL), accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management (AM), project costing (PC), grants, customer contracts and support change request processing. The AA I participates in teams and workgroups in related FI$Cal areas such as the Information Technology Division and other Business Operation and Solutions Division sections, including ad hoc process teams. The ITA plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing production and system support. The ITA serves as a subject matter expert with a working level knowledge of one or more business functional areas; accounts receivables, billing, asset management, labor distribution and purchasing. The ITA will provide Level 2 functional analysis and working knowledge of data processing concepts, practices and methods to departmental end-users regarding FI$Cal system incidents and change requests in the Business Operation and Solutions Division, Enhancements Service Center.
