Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator III, the Accounting Administrator II (AA II) works as part of the multidisciplinary team within the FI$Cal Service Center (FSC). As a working manager, the incumbent is a contributing and participating member of the FSC that is jointly responsible for the redesign, modernization and maintenance of the state’s enterprise financial management system. The incumbent is a subject matter expert module lead who will work with multiple teams to reengineer new business processes that have been implemented with the FI$Cal enterprise wide financial management system including providing training to FI$Cal end-users. Under direction of the Staff Services Manager II of the Business Services Section (BSS), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst works as the Emergency Coordinator/Health and Safety Officer, and is responsible for independently performing the most complex analytical and technical work in the business, administrative services and emergency preparedness to support the facilities and business services needs of the department. The incumbent performs analytical duties relating to emergency preparedness, physical building security, facility projects, oversight of mobile device hardware (such as Android and /or Apple devices), ergonomic evaluations and provides support to all areas of the BSS. As part of the BSS, the incumbent provides technical support and assistance to the staff, managers, executives, internal and external stakeholders.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE

Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Associate (ITA) is responsible for independently performing information technology and business functions necessary to support the 150 plus departments required to transact in the FI$CaI system. The ITA plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing highly visible production and system support. The ITA serves as an associate subject matter expert with a working level knowledge of one or more business functional areas; general ledger, accounting, budgeting, billing, accounts receivables, accounts payables, purchasing, cash management, labor distribution, treasury, loan accounting and deal management. The ITA will provide Level 2 functional analysis and working knowledge of data processing concepts, practices and methods to departmental end-users regarding FI$Cal system incidents and change requests in the Business Operation and Solutions Division Enhancements Service Center.
