INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER I
Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager (ITM) II, Chief of Emerging Technologies and Integration Services Office (ETISO), the Information Technology Manager (ITM ) I manages the Enterprise Integration Services Section (EISS). The ITM I oversees and supervises staff of Information Technology (IT) specialists who are responsible for IT assignments and projects with varying levels of complexity, within the scope of maintenance and support of Integration and Batch services. The ITM I manages and coordinates complex Information Technology (IT) data migration and interfacing activities between numerous client departmental systems and the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System including SFTP/MFTP services, tools, utilities and technologies. The ITM I also independently performs the most complex and difficult IT assignments and tasks.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I
The ITS I serves as a subject matter expert (SME) with a working level knowledge of one or more business functional areas; general ledger, accounting, budgeting, billing, accounts receivables, accounts payables, purchasing, cash management, labor distribution, commitment control, treasury & deal management. The ITS I will provide Level 2 (L2) functional analysis and working knowledge of data processing concepts, practices and methods to departmental end-users regarding FI$Cal system incidents and change requests in the Business Operation and Solutions Division (BOSD) Enhancements Service Center (ESC). This includes timely incident communication and resolution of reported incident tickets by FI$Cal system users.

Under general supervision of the Analytics Office Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, the Research Data Analyst (RDA) II will independently perform a variety of tasks including data management, complex research, data analysis, and data visualization. As the Data Analyst, the incumbent will work collaboratively with a variety of teams and staff at the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) to develop data reports and stories, create data visualizations and dashboards, identify data trends and patterns, and perform varied related tasks. The RDA II will be expected to seek and incorporate user feedback and develop and update their products in an iterative and agile manner.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER II
Under the administrative direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO)/ Deputy Director of the Information Technology Division (CEA B), the Information Technology Manager (ITM) II will serve as a member of Information Technology Division (ITD) senior leadership team as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal). The ITM II serving as the information security authority in an executive management role, manages the Privacy, Information Security and Compliance program and has full responsibility for all sensitive data/systems – automated and manual, physical and logical, on-premises and cloud-deployed for the Department of FISCal. The ITM II is responsible for reviewing and implementing the activities related to the regulatory compliance and risk management that are required to protect data confidentiality and privacy rights, and for ensuring the integrity and availability of these information systems.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I
Under direction from the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) I serves as a project manager in the Change and Release Management (CRM) Section, within the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is a customer focused service organization that provides project management services to customers/partners to complete various types of Information Technology (IT) projects to achieve the strategic objectives of FI$Cal. Through efficient and effective application of project management processes, tools, and techniques, the PMO manages projects to deliver FI$Cal system releases and new Information Technology (IT) products, services and systems. The incumbent is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and controlling all activities for the assigned projects within the CRM Section, which include implementation of new IT products, services and systems and new releases of the FI$Cal system. The ITS I ensures that FI$Cal’s project management processes, tools and techniques, industry best practices and state processes including California Project Management Framework (CA-PMF) are consistently applied to all assigned projects.
