INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE – Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology Associate (ITA) is responsible for independently performing information technology and business functions necessary to support the 150+ departments required to transact in the FI$CaI system. The ITA plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing highly visible production and system support.

ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SPECIALIST) – Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator II, the Accounting Administrator I (AA I) works as part of the multidisciplinary production system support team of the Department of FISCal. The incumbent will also provide the necessary information and support to the departments required to transact in the FI$Cal system.  The AA I plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing Customer Support, Researching and Resolving System Incidents, and performing as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the accounting areas and modules of the system such as General Ledger (GL), Account Receivable (AR), Billing (BI), Cash Management (CM), Account Payable (AP), Project Costing (PC), Grants, Customer contracts and support change request processing. The AA I participates in teams and workgroups in related Department areas such as the Information Technology Division and other Business Operation & Solutions Division (BOSD) sections, including ad hoc process teams.

ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST – Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager III, the incumbent serves as a Training Analyst, and is a full journey level analyst who is responsible for independently performing the most complex analytical and technical work in the Administrative Services Division, Departmental Operations Office, Training Section, providing training support to all Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) staff. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs analytical duties in support of FI$Cal training activities, including but not limited to, researching and tracking training requirements for staff, analyzing the impact of training needs, creating, scheduling, and presenting training, generating reports, and making recommendations to management on a variety of training topics.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I – Under direction from the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) I serves as a project manager in the Change and Release Management (CRM) Section, within the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is a customer focused service organization that provides project management services to customers/partners to complete various types of Information Technology (IT) projects to achieve the strategic objectives of FI$Cal. Through efficient and effective application of project management processes, tools, and techniques, the PMO manages projects to deliver FI$Cal system releases and new Information Technology (IT) products, services and systems.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST II – Under general direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) in Database Platform Services Section, the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) works independently on the most complex software systems and software projects. The incumbent is responsible for the most complex tasks and duties that involve the FI$Cal databases and associated tools, application and their interactions.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST II – Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager (ITM ) I, the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) II serves as a functional lead expert to analyze, design, develop, implement, document, debug and support most complex Interfaces and batch support for the Enterprise Integration Services Section (EITSS) within Information Technology Division (ITD). The ITS II serves as a functional expert and provides guidance to EITSS team for data integration support of the most complex system interfaces, conversions, enhancements and production batch operations support within the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) financial application.
