Application Administrator – Information Technology Associate to work under the general supervision of the Information Technology Manager I, within the Emerging Technologies and Web Services (ETWS) Section of the Information Technology (IT) Division. The Information Technology Associate (ITA) works independently and as part of a team performing systems web/software development on software project teams. The ITA is responsible for analyzing, implementing, testing, documenting, deploying, maintaining, and providing support for the Department of FISCal’s web services, enterprise content management system, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotic automation services (RPA). The incumbent also provides technical expertise to staff and performs the maintenance, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of FI$Cal internal application services problems encountered by various FI$Cal teams. Server Architect – Information Technology Specialist II to lead the architectural development, infrastructure design and installation, configuration, testing, and documentation of all server hardware and software on existing and target infrastructures.  The Information Technology Specialist II provides expertise in server virtualization software, storage equipment and Active Directory services. The incumbent provides technical expertise, advice and guidance to Information Technology staff and is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of the more complex Information Technology systems as well assisting the Department of FI$Cal (Department) with any issues encountered by the use of the aforementioned systems. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the entire Department with IT services from the planning through operational phases of the FI$Cal system implementation. Final filing date: 3/9/2021.

Enhancement and Break Fixes Supervisor – Information Technology Supervisor II to be responsible for independently managing and performing the most complex information technology (IT) activities related to budgeting and accounting functions that are necessary to support the 150+ departments required to transact in the FI$Cal system.  As part of supporting departments, the incumbent will serve as a supervisor in the Enhancements Service Center (ESC), Enhancements and Break Fixes Section (EBFS) with a working level knowledge of system design, application development life cycle and state budgeting and financial management functions, processes, IT business procedures and practices for budgeting, accounting, and statewide financial reporting and management functions. The ITS II provides assistance and support to departmental end-users regarding FI$Cal application or system change requests. This includes participating in envisioning the end-to-end processes and applying a broad understanding of the mission critical responsibilities and major functions of the system. . Information Security Analyst – Information Technology Specialist I to serve as a security analyst resource supporting the Security Architect/Lead Security Data Analyst within ESS. The incumbent will independently and as part of a team perform first level security analysis on the FI$Cal system, identifying potential security events and provide escalations to the Security team for further analysis and action. The ITS I is responsible for security tool monitoring to ensure all security controls are operational and in alignment with FI$Cal’s enterprise security requirements as well as federal and state laws, regulations, standards and industry best practices. Duties involve but are not limited to information security event monitoring and triage, information security governance, risk and compliance management, and information security architecture.  Final filing date: 3/12/2021.

Data Analyst – Research Data Analyst II to independently perform a variety of tasks including data management, complex research, data analysis, and data visualization. As the Data Analyst, the incumbent will work collaboratively with a variety of teams and staff at the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) to develop data reports and stories, create data visualizations and dashboards, identify data trends and patterns, and perform varied related tasks. The RDA II will be expected to seek and incorporate user feedback and develop and update their products in an iterative and agile manner. Final filing date: 3/15/2021.

Accounting Administrator I (Specialist) – To provide the necessary information and support to the departments required to transact in the FI$Cal system, and coordinate with the State Controller’s Office (SCO) to facilitate the closing of accounting modules for Month-End Close / Year-End Close (MEC/YEC) activities.  The AA I plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing customer support, researching and resolving system incidents, and performing as the subject matter expert (SME) for the accounting areas and modules of the system such as general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), project costing (PC), grants, customer contracts and support change request processing. The AA I participates in teams and workgroups in related FI$Cal areas such as the Information Technology Division and other Business Operation and Solutions Division (BOSD) sections, including ad hoc process teams. Labor and Performance Management Analyst – Associate Personnel Analyst to serve as a full journey-level analyst who works with a high degree of independence and performs the more responsible, varied, and complex analytical work in the administration of the Department of FISCal’s personnel management programs including performance management, labor relations, Reasonable Accommodation (RA)/FMLA/Workers’ Compensation (WC) programs, and special projects (i.e., policies/procedures, Succession Plan, Workforce Plan, award programs, etc.). Enterprise Application Integration Analyst – Information Technology Specialist I to provide enterprise-wide data integration support of the system interfaces, conversions, enhancements and production batch operations support within the FI$Cal Financial Application. The ITS I is also responsible for Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) process development and support. The incumbent ensures adherence to the department’s business and technology vision, goals and objectives. The ITS I leads efforts to document emerging system functions, processes, and data within the FI$Cal Financial Application.  The ITS I provides continued on-going resolutions for operational needs, and ensures that the FI$Cal Financial Application meets business objectives while adopting latest technology trends and industry best practices. Project Manager – Information Technology Specialist I to serve as a project manager in the Change and Release Management (CRM) Section, within the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is a customer focused service organization that provides project management services to customers/partners to complete various types of Information Technology (IT) projects to achieve the strategic objectives of FI$Cal. The PMO manages projects to deliver FI$Cal system releases and new Information Technology (IT) products, services and systems. The incumbent is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and controlling all activities for the assigned projects within the CRM Section, which include implementation of new IT products, services and systems and new releases of the FI$Cal system.
