INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I
Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Manager, the Information Technology Specialist I will perform the tasks and activities associated with contract and vendor management and assist with the acquisitions of information technology (IT) goods and services for the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal). The incumbent will be responsible for managing the FI$Cal Contract Lifecycle Management by applying contract lifecycle management methodologies, including deliverables management, compliance, negotiations, invoice review and approvals, and contract oversight from initiation to closeout. The incumbent will also assist with developing IT contracts including the scope of work, administrative and technical requirements, conducting various solicitations using a variety of procurement methodologies. The incumbent interacts regularly with various levels of departmental staff, including executive management, as well as control agency staff and contractors on a regular basis, in order to manage the more complex contract activities and resolve any issues that may arise throughout the contract lifecycle. The duties for this position are focused in the business technology management, client services IT project management and software engineering domains, however, work may be assigned in the other domains on an as needed basis.

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTING ANALYST
Under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator II, the Associate Accounting Analyst (AAA) works as part of the multidisciplinary production system support team of the Department of FISCal. The incumbent will also provide the necessary information and support to the departments required to transact in the FI$Cal system, and coordinate with the State Controller’s Office to facilitate the closing of accounting modules for Month-End Close/Year-End Close activities. The AAA plays an important role in the overall success of the FI$Cal system by providing customer support, researching and resolving system incidents, and performing as the subject matter expert for the accounting areas and modules of the system such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, Grants, Customer contracts, and support change request processing. The AAA participates in teams and workgroups in related department areas such as the Information Technology Division and other Business Operation and Solutions Division sections, including ad hoc process teams.
