INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST II
Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), Enterprise Security Services Office (ESSO) and Security Analytics and Program Management Section, the Information Technology Specialist (ITS) II will serve as a Senior Information Security Analyst resource for a wide array of security functions. The incumbent will independently perform in-depth security testing and security reviews on the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) environment. The incumbent will also identify risks and provide recommendations to management for mitigation. The ITS II is responsible for providing expert technical and analytical leadership in the areas of information security governance, risk, and compliance management. The duties for this position are focused in the Information Security Engineering domain, however, work may be assigned in the other domains as needed.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I
Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) provides technical leadership and expertise working with the Emerging Technologies and Web Services development and maintenance. The incumbent provides assessment, design, development and operation support for the web, content and automation services. The ITS I leads the effort to document emerging system functions, processes, and provides on-going resolutions for operational needs, and ensures that Emerging Technologies and Web Services Section meets business objectives while adopting latest technology trends and industry best practices. The ITS I is responsible for systems analysis, design, build, maintenance and operations of complex software systems and software projects. The incumbent evaluates, analyzes, designs, codes, implements, maintains and supports computer software which includes but is not limited to, web management software, operating systems, business intelligence software, Cloud services, Commercial Off the Shelf Software (COTS), proprietary software packages and tools.

ASSOCIATE PERSONNEL ANALYST
Associate Personnel Analyst : Under the general direction of the Personnel Officer (Staff Services Manager I), the incumbent serves as a full journey level analyst and performs the more responsible, varied, and complex analytical work in the administration of the department’s personnel management programs including classification and pay, recruitment, selection, retention, training, benefits, position control, and organizational development.

ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR II
Under the administrative direction of the Accounting Administrator III, the Accounting Administrator (AA) II will serve as the External Training Unit Manager. The AA II is responsible for developing and implementing training and support strategies, plans, and tools to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing use of the FI$Cal system. The AA II is also responsible for the statewide training of all state departments and control agencies and will function as a high-level subject matter expert (SME) in departmental training and support. The position will use knowledge of the FI$Cal system and an understanding of the State of California’s accounting processes, and knowledge of adult learning principles to effectively develop learning content, and instructor-led training for FI$Cal end-users. The AA II will work on continuous improvement of learning content, learning program and learning access to best serve end-users. The AA II will work with the other workgroups and project areas, such as the FI$Cal Service Center, Enhancement Service Center, and Information Technology Division on delivery of instructor led training/virtual instructor led training (ILT/VILT) courses and on updating job aids and other learning contents due to new enhancement and new functionalities or services.
