STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I

Guided by an Accounting Administrator III, the individual in this role is responsible for creating, updating, and delivering advanced training curricula. The Staff Services Manager I role involves supervising a group of analysts whose primary set of tasks are related to designing, developing, implementing, and continuously updating course content and materials. This includes facilitating training sessions to assist in the rollout of the FI$Cal system, anticipated to benefit 15,000 end-users throughout the state of California.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER I
Working Title: Cybersecurity Manager

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Technology Manager (ITM) I will lead the Information Systems Security Management Section (ISSMS) within the Enterprise Security Services Office of the Information Technology Division. The ITM I will be in charge of managing a team of Information Technology Specialists I/II and consultants, overseeing the organization, planning, and direction of all activities related to this section. The ISSMS is responsible for various aspects of the FI$Cal system, including program management, governance, risk and compliance, security engineering, and information asset protection and management. While the primary focus of this role is in the information security engineering domain, there may be occasional assignments in other domains as needed.
