In this role, the ITS I helps guide junior analysts and provides reliable system support to FI$Cal users. As the lead for the Systems Analysis Unit, the ITS I assists analysts and end-users with labor distribution activities and serves as a go-to subject matter expert on FI$Cal processes and state financial policies. The position offers hands-on support for accounting and budgeting functions and contributes to developing clear, effective end-to-end business processes.
The duties in this position are focused in the Client Services domain, however, work may be assigned in other domains as needed.

You’ll collaborate with executive leadership, statewide partners, and vendors to ensure programs operate efficiently, remain compliant, and support FI$Cal’s mission. In this role, you will lead and develop managers and staff, drive process improvements, oversee major operational initiatives and capital projects, manage risk and audit activities, and help shape policies that support the department’s long-term success.
