System Enhancements

The Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) continually makes updates and enhancements to the system based on feedback from our end users. Our goal is to improve usability while maintaining the highest level of security for the state’s data.

FI$Cal released the following enhancements in April (descriptions include ServiceNow case numbers).

General Ledger

 Request: CS0367930

Request to modify book to bank:

  1. Pending cash accounts receivables (AR) should be removed from Trial Balance page.
  2. Off-set deposits (net-zero deposits) should be removed from Reconciliation page.
  3. Payment cancellations should be included in Bank Statement page.

Enhancement/Solution

Three modifications were applied to the interactive pages, no change to the report layout:

  1. Pending cash AR was removed from the Trial Balance page.
  2. Off-set deposits (net-zero deposits) was removed from the Reconciliation page.
  3. Payment cancellations included in Bank Statement page.
