The Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) continually makes updates and enhancements to the system based on feedback from our end users. Our goal is to improve usability while maintaining the highest level of security for the state’s data.
FI$Cal released the following enhancements in October (descriptions include ServiceNow case numbers):
Project Costing
Request: CS0336751
Requested to create a new outbound interface INFPC029 – Direct Actuals file from FI$Cal. This file will be used to load direct actuals data in the Oracle’s Aconex Construction Project Management software. INFPC029 Interface outbound file will include: 15 columns of direct actual’s data identified in functional design, a header row identifying the names of each column of data, and be placed in the outgoing “Department of General Services” folder in SFTP.
Enhancement/Solution
Created the new application engine process ZZ_PC_ACON02 to interface outbound process along with new tables, Run Control Page, and run control component for the process.

Requested to create a new inbound interface INFPC030 to import budget/change event information from Oracle’s Aconex Construction Project Management software to FI$Cal project costing module. Requested to update the “Prime Project” checkbox label name to “Sync with Project Management Software” on the General Information page of the project and also update the verbiage on the message box that appears after checking this checkbox.

Created the new application engine process ZZ_PC_ACON03 to process inbound interface along with new tables, Run Control Page, and run control component for the process. Updated the “Prime Project” checkbox label name to “Sync with Project Management Software” on the General Information page of the project and also updated the verbiage on message box that appears after checking this checkbox.

Requested to create a new outbound interface INFPC028 – Project file from FI$Cal. This file will be used to create project in the Oracle’s Prime and Project Request Mail in the Oracle’s Aconex Construction Project Management software. INFPC028 Interface outbound file will include: 18 columns of project data identified in functional design, a header row identifying the names of each column of data, and be placed in the outgoing “Department of General Services” folder in SFTP.

Created an Aconex Project Extract Application Engine process to interface outbound process, along with new tables, Run Control Page, and run control component for this process.

Security for new project costing interface: INPC028, INFPC030 and INFPC029. Incorporated these new interfaces in existing Department of General Services batch permissionlList.

Added tables ZZ_PC_ACON_COMB, ZZ_PC_ACO_ACTLS, and ZZ_PC_ACO03_HST to the ZZ_CA_QUERY_TREE.
