The Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) continually makes updates and enhancements to the system based on feedback from our end users. Our goal is to improve usability while maintaining the highest level of security for the state’s data.

FI$Cal released the following enhancements in March (descriptions include ServiceNow case numbers):

EPIC 63990 – Flow tax or tax exempt status from purchase order (PO) lines to P-Card transaction when reconciling with PO.


Change the prorate percent to be determined at the PO line level (PO Line Monetary Amount/PO Line Merchandise Amount) when P-Card amount and PO total amounts are the same.

  • Show the exact sales/use tax amount from associated PO line on P-Card transaction.
  • Fix P-Card line and distribution regrouping issue with split PO line distributions scenario. Regrouping is updating incorrect amount for P-Card transaction distribution lines > 1.
