FI$Cal is happy to announce the release of new self-service functionality allowing departments to update Purchase Order (PO) signatures and departmental logos without having to submit a ticket and a Configuration Modification Request form to the FI$Cal Service Center.

With this new functionality, an image file of the signature or logo is uploaded, previewed, and accepted solely by the department. Once the image change is accepted, it is available for printing as applicable on POs, Invoices, Customer Statements, and Collection Letter documents.

The idea for this release was generated as part of our efforts to implement the Delegated Authority concept developed during the Imagine FI$Cal event this past April. The concept of Delegated Authority, where departments are empowered to utilize the system more independently, was developed by department representatives during the System Enhancement workshop session.

Although departments don’t frequently need to update their PO signatures and logos, this self-service ability is a prototype and a first step in providing departments with more functionality that they can control. FI$Cal will continue to look for additional opportunities to apply this Delegated Authority concept to further enhance your FI$Cal interactions.
