This past November, FI$Cal held an Imagine FI$Cal workshop in Los Angeles, where some of our end users in Southern California came together to brainstorm ideas on ways we can improve our training, customer service, and system performance.
As a result of one of the ideas generated from that workshop, we have added a new “FI$Cal Announcement” tile to the FI$Cal system homepage, giving end users another way of staying up to date on the latest system related communications and information.
Utilizing the tile, department users can see and access notifications on system news, changes, updates and system issues which are pertinent to their particular roles in the FI$Cal system. Through the FI$Cal Announcement tile, end users can select the module information they want to be displayed and set user preferences to only show the types of notifications they want presented in the unread announcement indicator on the tile.
