Under the administrative direction of the Chief Deputy Director, the CEA B, Deputy Director of Business Operations and Solutions Division (BOSD) fulfills substantial leadership and policy responsibilities for the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) of significant scope, complexity and sensitivity and is responsible for the leadership and management of the work of BOSD. The incumbent leads the development and administration of the BOSD policies and procedures for effective and efficient operation of the three BOSD centers, namely, FI$Cal Service Center (FSC), Enhancements Service Center (ESC), and Workforce Development Center (WDC). This position provides guidance and direction on FI$Cal system functionality and the state’s financial management processes and oversees the activities of multidisciplinary BOSD teams to provide world-class customer service. The incumbent collaborates with other FI$Cal divisions and FI$Cal partner agencies to continuously improve the FI$Cal system to support business needs and the state’s evolving financial management processes. The incumbent contributes to the formulation of multi-year FI$Cal portfolio and roadmap and by leading the BOSD activities to implement the roadmap.
