Labor and Performance Management Analyst – Associate Personnel Analyst to work under the general direction of the Labor and Performance Management Section (LPMS) Chief, Staff Services Manager II (SSM II), the incumbent serves as a full journey level analyst who works with a high degree of independence and performs the more responsible, varied, and complex analytical work in the administration of the Department of FISCal’s personnel management programs including performance management, labor relations, Reasonable Accommodation (RA)/FMLA/Workers’ Compensation (WC) programs, and special projects (i.e., policies/procedures, Succession Plan, Workforce Plan, award programs, etc.). Security Analytics and Program Management Section Chief– Information Technology Manager I to work under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager II (ITM II), Chief Information Security Officer, the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) will serve as the Security Analytics and Program Management Section Chief within the Enterprise Security Services Office of the Information Technology Division (ITD). As the chief of the Security Analytics and Program Management (SAPM) Section, the ITM I has full management responsibility for organizing, planning, and directing all activities associated with the SAPM Section. This section is responsible for developing and implementing Financial Information System of California (FISCal)’s information security policies, planning and providing security awareness training to the departmental staff, planning and conducting information security tests, identifying and addressing the information security risks and vulnerabilities, and developing and implementing the information security risk management program. Additionally, the SAPM section is also responsible for conducting information security audits, identifying and implementing security analytics, coordinating independent security assessments, and for maintaining the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM). SAPM section collaborates with other ITD sections and other FI$Cal divisions to execute the actions documented in POAM and mitigate information security risks. The ITM I, serves as an information security subject matter expert in a management role, and is responsible for reviewing and implementing the activities related to the regulatory compliance and risk management that are required to protect data confidentiality and privacy rights and ensure the integrity and availability of these information systems. Project Manager – Information Technology Specialist I to serve as a project manager in the Change and Release Management (CRM) Section, within the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is a customer focused service organization that provides project management services to customers/partners to complete various types of Information Technology (IT) projects to achieve the strategic objectives of FI$Cal. Through efficient and effective application of project management processes, tools, and techniques, the PMO manages projects to deliver FI$Cal system releases and new Information Technology (IT) products, services and systems. The incumbent is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and controlling all activities for the assigned projects within the CRM Section, which include implementation of new IT products, services and systems and new releases of the FI$Cal system. The ITS I ensures that FI$Cal’s project management processes, tools and techniques, industry best practices and state processes including California Project Management Framework (CA-PMF) are consistently applied to all assigned projects. In addition, the ITS I communicates with business partners on updated state policies and procedures, and ensures that the department’s control agencies’ reporting requirements are met. The ITS I articulates and implements processes, facilitates discussions or meetings, and provides status updates, coaching and mentoring to other project team members. Database Administrator – Information Technology Specialist II to work under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) in Database Platform Services Section, the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) works independently on the most complex software systems and software projects. The incumbent is responsible for the most complex tasks and duties that involve the FI$Cal databases and associated tools, application and their interactions. The ITS II is responsible for organizing, planning, and implementing all activities associated with the FI$Cal Database Platform Services Section. The incumbent is responsible for the design, installation and configuration, patching and upgrades, monitoring and optimizing, backup, recovery, performance, maintenance and operations of all system FI$Cal Database Services and all monitoring and development tools that support the FI$Cal system, as well as the technical testing of the FI$Cal system which includes performance testing, disaster recovery testing and accessibility testing.
