Client Training Analyst – Accounting Administrator I (Specialist) in our Business Operation and Solutions Division. Serve as a subject matter expert in the development of curriculum for FI$Cal accounting modules, supporting User Support Labs (USL) for FI$Cal users, and department engagement activities as requested. Support internal and external staff on accounting strategies and policies for use of the FI$Cal system in the use of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) applied to accounting transactions, policies, and financial reporting. Application Administrator – Information Technology Specialist I in our IT Division. Work on complex software applications and systems. The incumbent will provide technical support for the FI$Cal Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and will be responsible for the system and environmental stability/availability of the production and non-production environments. The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the FI$Cal enterprise n-tier applications and their tools and interactions. Duties include patching, performance and tuning, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, environment refreshes, documentation, mentoring and incident and troubleshooting. Chief Counsel – CEA. Serve as the principal legal adviser to the Department of Financial Information Systems for California (FISCal) and the director. Provide general direction to the department’s attorney; provide advice, counsel and specialized legal services to the department on the most complex legal issues related to Information Technology (IT) contracts, conflicts of interest, human resources, regulations and policies. This position oversees procurements, negotiation of contracts, handles confidential personnel matters, drafts department policies and works with the legislative office.
