Departments are gaining additional time to submit year-end financial reports to the State Controller’s Office for all their funds. The revised deadlines are prescribed in Budget Letter 21-04 from the state Department of Finance (Finance).
Finance will continue to provide assistance and year-end training for departments using FI$Cal, the letter states. Finance will conduct FI$Cal accounting overview training classes in April and year-end training in April and June. Information on those classes can be found here. Departments should work with their Finance accounting analyst/manager and FI$Cal relations coordinator to make arrangements for additional support to meet the year-end deadlines.
