Deputy Director Administrative Services Division
Antonette Ramirez was promoted to Deputy Director of the Administrative Services Division at the Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) on May 5, 2026.
With more than 27 years of state service, Antonette most recently served as the chief of FI$Cal’s Departmental Operations Office, overseeing the department’s budgets, accounting, procurements, contract management, and business services sections. She started with FI$Cal in 2010 as the lead procurement contact for FI$Cal’s system integrator procurement.
Antonette has played an integral role in the administrative transition of FI$Cal from a project to a department. In 2014, she led the work to obtain a DGS delegated purchasing authority when FI$Cal became a department. This included establishing FI$Cal’s procurement section by building processes, procedures, and operational functions for the department from the ground up.
Antonette has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. She is a recipient of the 2021 CIO Academy IT Leadership award.
