The Department of FISCal (FI$Cal) continually makes updates and enhancements to the system based on feedback from our end users. Our goal is to improve usability while maintaining the highest level of security for the state’s data.
FI$Cal released the following enhancements in February and March (descriptions include ServiceNow case numbers):
Accounts Payable
Request: N/A
Request to add the following fields to Summary Report:
- No. Non-EC Vouchers Hit by Filter
- Amount of Non-EC Vouchers Hit by Filter
- No. of Non-EC Vouchers Denied by SCO
- No. of Non-EC Vouchers Pushed Back by SCO
Enhancement/Solution:
Created code change in ZZ_AP_FILSUM, ZZ_AP_FES_TAO.
Procurement
Request: CS0526225
Request to update reports, pages, and messages sets to replace CalPIA with CALCTRA.
Enhancement/Solution:
Updated the message set & pages to replace CalPIA with CALCTRA. The 5 pages are: PO Workcenter page, Requistion Workcenter page, CALCTRA Report page, CALCTRA Dispatch Report page, and CALCTRA email configuration page.
Accounts Receivables

Enhancement request to modify the AR Auto Reclass Process to allow departmental users to select a Prior Accounting Date for Reclassifying Abatement ARs as it is impacting the reverting year PFA.
Enhancement/Solution:
Updated code to add Accounting Period and Accounting Date in the Run Control for Abatements AR Reclass Criteria to show only 10,11,12 periods provided they are open in AR and GL. Additionally, made changes to ZZ_AR_RELAS app engines to fulfill the enhancement request.
General Ledger
Request: CS0495525
This enhancement has the expenditures and encumbrances amounts roll-up to and display on the budget allotment line. Previously, the Expenditures and Encumbrance balances didn’t roll up to the budget line, making it difficult to determine how they contribute to the overall budget.
Enhancement/Solution:
Created a code change to the program “ZZ_BUD1_ACTL” to accommodate the new Report Type option called “Sum&Detail” on the Run Control page. When selected, the system generates a unified report comprising the summarization at the roll-up level and the detailed data at the lower levels.
