Purpose: Demonstrate how to register as an eSupplier in Cal eProcure.
Scenario: You have received a communication from FI$Cal containing instructions on how to register as an eSupplier. By registering, you will have access to your purchase documents, and be able to receive notifications about bidding events.
Roles: Supplier
Steps:
Click the Login/Register link.
Step 1Click the Register as a Supplier link.
Step 2The Supplier Registration page is shown. Use this page to create your login credentials. After completing this process, you will use those credentials to access Cal eProcure as an eSupplier.
Step 3Using the information provided by FI$Cal in a communication, you will be able to complete the registration process. FI$Cal will provide you with a specific Code value that will be used here.
Step 4Click in the Code field.
Step 5Enter the desired information into the Code field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "123456789".
Step 6The User ID is a name chosen by the business that is required for log in purposes each time a user logs into FI$Cal. The User ID is determined by the individual.
Step 7Click in the User ID field.
Step 8Enter the desired information into the User ID field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "john.smith".
Step 9Provide an email address for the user that is registering the business in the Email ID field.
Step 10Click in the Email ID field.
Step 11Enter the desired information into the Email ID field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "john.smith@aeroflexwitchita.com".
Step 12Your Password must be at least 7 characters long, must include one special character and one number. The Password is determined by the individual.
An example of a valid password would be: P@ssw0rd
The password assigned here will be a one-time password. You will be prompted to change your password after completing registration and logging in for the first time.
Step 13Click in the Password field.
Step 14Enter the desired information into the Password field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "P@ssw0rd".
Step 15The Confirm Password field is used to re-enter your password to ensure that it is correct.
Step 16Click in the Confirm Password field.
Step 17Enter the desired information into the Confirm field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "P@ssw0rd".
Step 18Next, respond to the questions about receiving notifications appropriately.
Step 19Click the Vertical Scrollbar.
Step 20Enter the Vendor ID value that was provided to you by FI$Cal in the communication you received.
Click in the Vendor ID field.
Step 21Enter the desired information into the Vendor ID field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "0000000110".
Step 22The ID Number value refers to your business' Tax ID Number (TIN).
FI$Cal uses the Code value, Vendor ID, and ID Number to verify your information and associate you to your existing FI$Cal vendor record.
Click in the ID Number field.
Step 23Enter the desired information into the ID Number field.
Enter "338912238".
Step 24Lastly on this page, define the Service Areas were your company can do business.
Step 25You may either select the individual Service Areas or check the select all Service Areas checkbox to designate that you provide service in all areas.
Step 26Click the Area Id Look up button.
Step 27The individual listing of Service Areas displays, allowing you to manually select those where you may do business.
You can narrow the list by typing the name of your desired Service Area in the search bar.
Step 28Click in the Quick Filter field.
Step 29Enter the desired information into the Quick Filter field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "Sac".
Step 30Click the 034 button.
Step 31The Service Area for Sacramento County is now selected.
Step 32If you need to remove Service Areas, use the Delete Row button to remove rows.
Step 33If you need to add more Service Areas, use the Add button to add rows.
Step 34Click the Add button.
Step 35Click the Vertical Scrollbar.
Step 36Click the second Area Id Look up button.
Step 37Click in the Quick Filter field.
Step 38Enter the desired information into the Select field.
Enter a valid value e.g. "San".

Step 41If you can do business in all service areas, select the "select all Service Areas" checkbox and all service areas will then appear in the table below. This allows you to skip the process of manually selecting each service area individually.
Step 42Click the Create button.
Step 43The Successfully Registered page is shown. This page confirms that your registration process was completed.
Step 44Next, return to the home page and sign in to Cal eProcure using your newly created User ID and Password.
The first time you sign in after registering, you will need to change your password.
Step 45Click the Home button below the Successful Registration message.
