Creating a new CSCR version


Purpose: Demonstrate how to create a new CSCR event version in FI$Cal.

 

Scenario: A CSCR event was previously created, but you have determined that the event details need to be updated. Create a new version of the event and save the new changes.

 

Role: Non-FI$Cal Department CSCR Processor


Steps:

  1. Begin by navigating to the Event Workbench page.

     

    Click the Main Menu button.

  3. Click the Maintain Events menu.

  4. Click the Event Workbench menu.

  5. The Event Workbench page is displayed.

     

    Search for the desired event so you can create a new version.

  6. Begin by using the Event ID to narrow the search for your desired event.

  7. Click in the Event ID field.

  8. Enter the desired information into the Event ID field. 

     

    Enter a valid value e.g. "0000000037".

  12. The desired event is now displayed in the Search Results grid.

     

    Proceed to create a new version of this event by using the Create New Version button on the event line.

  16. The Event Summary page is displayed, but now the Version value is shown as "2", showing that this is the second created version of the event.

  30. Now that you have updated all desired criteria, proceed to save the event changes.
